Precision as standard.

Every project starts with precise specifications. Every component is measured with precision. Every tuning is based on real data (log files). No guesswork, no generic maps.

My remote-first workflow means faster iterations, lower costs, and no geographical restrictions. You get the results without long wait times.

3D Printing &
Reverse Engineering

Production parts break. Replacement parts are often no longer available. Custom tuning parts aren’t off-the-shelf. This is exactly where I come in: producing replacement parts, reverse engineering, and 3D scans.

No original part available? I can scan physical parts with a 3D scanner and create an exact digital model from them — this is the basis for precise reproductions or further developments.

Starting at approx. €25 per part (material & printing) · Quote based on specifications

// Applications

What can be manufactured?

If it’s a component that requires precise geometry and mechanical properties — it can be printed. I use high-strength, temperature-resistant fiber-reinforced materials.

  • Sensor housings & mounts
  • Interior trim
  • Cable clips & guides
  • Airflow adapters
  • Shift gates
  • Switch covers
  • Camera & radar mounts
  • Cup Holder Inserts
  • Replacement clips & fasteners
  • Prototype mounts
// Materials

Material selection.

PA-CF (Nylon Carbon) Extremely high strength, engine compartment, structural parts
ASA UV-resistant, exterior, weather-resistant
ABS Temperature-resistant, durable, sandable
PETG Engine compartment (moderate heat), slightly flexible
TPU Flexible mounts, vibration damping
PLA+ Interior, prototyping (no load)

A material recommendation is included in every quote.

// Workflow

From idea to component.

Step 01

Requirement & 3D Scan

Using a photo, sketch, defective original part, or 3D scan, we work together to define the specifications.

Step 02

Design

I design the component and create a 3D preview for approval.

Step 03

Print

Manufacturing on CoreXY machines. High-strength fiber materials, high dimensional accuracy.

Step 04

Shipping

Securely packaged and shipped directly to you with tracking. Typically 2–5 days after approval.

// Why codi.motive

Functionality comes first.

The result is functional, precisely dimensioned, and designed for use in the automotive sector — I stand behind every component because I’m passionate about it.

Remote ECU
Tuning

Tuning of freely programmable ECUs such as ME221/ME442 or Megasquirt / TunerStudio-based devices. I customize base maps or optimize existing maps based on your log files.

Note: This service is intended exclusively for vehicles with freely programmable aftermarket ECUs (ME series, Megasquirt). Stock ECUs are not supported.

Basemap starting at €120 · Map optimization via log file starting at €60 · Prices based on time and effort

// Services

What I offer.

Basemap Creation For the first engine start
Fuel mapping VE or Alpha-N maps
Ignition map Safe and optimized ignition timing
Boost pressure control Boost control for turbocharged engines
Idle & Cold Start Stable idle and perfect starting performance in any weather
Engine protection functions Configuration of limiters (overboost, lean protection, temperature protection)
Data log analysis Analysis of your logged drives with step-by-step reviews
Personalized support Close support throughout the entire tuning process
// Checklist

Before you start.

Remote tuning only works with clean data. Misfires, mechanical issues, or faulty sensors distort the logs — hardware issues must be resolved first.

Current calibration file (.msq / .mecal)
Log file (start, idle, driving)
Broadband lambda sensor working & calibrated
No defective or leaks
Ignition tested
Test bench: Tuning possible via TeamViewer.

// Workflow

Here’s how it works.

Step 01

Preparation & Basemap

Check the checklist. If the engine isn't running yet, we'll load a suitable basemap onto your ECU so the vehicle starts.

Step 02

Create log files

Start logging before starting the engine. Log the cold start, the warm-up, and, if applicable, a short, leisurely drive (no full throttle yet!).

Step 03

Analysis & Adjustment

Send me the log file and your current map. I’ll evaluate the data, adjust the maps, and send you a new version within 48 hours.

Step 04

Iteration

Drive with the new map and log the data again (this time with a heavier load). I’ll repeat this process until the vehicle is perfectly tuned.
